Wayside amenity project designed on a site near Pune on Pune-Bengaluru Highway is a one-of-a-kind proposal and breaks the stereotypical wayside amenity which is mostly conceptualised as community centres.
This amenity thinks about the pay-and-pick user who prefers to drive through the amenity, pick up his favourite meal and move forward.
Apart from that our design captures views of surrounding hills and creates an interesting ambience for those who wish to enjoy their meals inside the building.
The facade was inspired by Moshe Safdie’s Habitat 67 and finds its place in a commercial development rather than a residential one.
The project’s backyard is an open-to-sky dining space that also converts to a destination event venue whenever needed.
